HMCS Wetaskiwin

I'm currently putting together some illustrations of Wetaskiwin and I would like to know what colours she was painted around the time she helped sink U-588. I know she was short foc'sle and still had the mast fore of the bridge but at the water line and dazzle on the hull I only have B&W photos to work off of . If anyone could give me some idea, it would be greatly appreciated.

Photos of HMS Pink taken at Londenderry on or about May 30-31, 1943, show Loosestrife bow on tied up to Pink's port side. Anguila conversion

I recently came accross the following information in a 1948 magazine:

A corvette was bought by a Greek-baked company named "Levante" to be renamed (or already named) Anguila. She was built in 1943 and had a length of 285,6ft. "Levante" was planning to convert the Anguila into an emmigrant carrier with capacity for 400 person and put her in Genoa-Buenos Aires service.

Hey there this is my first post. I recently interviewed my step dad's father, who served in WWII, for a report for veteran's day.
He lives in England and served in the Royal Navy.

I have a lot of details but I would like to know more about the ships he was stationed on.
The names I have are the Widgeon, possible Wigeon. And the Triumph. I know that the Wigeon was a corvette, and the Triumph was an aircraft carrier.

I hold a photo of HMS AZALEA with three bands on her funnel, date not recorded. The bands appear to be one white over two black. AZALEA has her foremast behind the bridge and carries 271 radar so this must be after 1942.

Can anyone tell me what Escort Group she may belong to? Where was this group based? And the colour of the bands?

I am at the moment kit-bashing the Revel 1:72 Corvette kit into HMCS AGASSIZ in her short fcstl. type complete with minesweeping gear. My question concerns the colour scheme of the associated sweep gear eg. Minesweep Floats, Otters, Dan Bouys etc. Also was it normal to paint the wooden deck areas such as Compass House Roof, Compass Platform, Dinghy platforms and Carley float stowages, or would these be varnished to show the wood effect.
