As I posted some pics on Captain Browns thread, I thought I would start my own thread concerning my own build. After seeing the pictures of her on this forum, I decided to modify my Revell flower kit to resemble cloesly to HMS Campion after her 1942 refit. I liked the idea of the added AA guns on the side, and the colur scheme is distinctive.

I'm trying to decide whether to take on the Fleetscale 1/48 Bryony or the 1/72 Revell corvette as a display model. One of the issues concerning me is whether the Sirmar fittings @ 1/48 are anywhere near the quality of the Parkins GLS fittings for the 1/72 Revell build, which I'm familiar with. I can't find any detailed photos of the Sirmar fittings.

I have had the HMCS Snowberry for about a year now, I made the decision to do the ever popular conversion as well. I am brand new to this so I will have lots of questions during build. I did have HMS Bluebell made from the same kit many years ago, but she met a sad end....I managed to get the propellor caught around a bouy line and she went down with all hands. Hopefully this one will not be following the same fate...

I have a few questions about the Revell corvette kit, and which corvettes can built from it.

First, does the model represent a regular early Flower, or the later Flower with the increased sheer and bow rake?

Second, can either Snowflake, Sunflower, Pink or Loosestrife be built from it? That would depend, of course, on whether they were early or later Flowers and which configuration the model represents.
