Help!
I have had a bit of a problem trying to fine the correct colour for below the waterline on HMS Bluebell for 1945. Was it red or Black? |

It was probably black according to this site: http://www.cbrnp.com/RNP/...er/MODELS/Decks/decks.htm But it could have been red.

Hi Ian M, according to the original Matchbox instructions the hull below the waterline is Humbrol No 70 brick red, White Ensign Models colour profile of
Blubell also show it as being red and have their own range of colour matched paints WWII RN Anti-fouling Red(Reference #RN 19) I sprayed mine with red oxide
car primer. Hope this is of some help.
